Virgin Pulse

Virgin Pulse was a digital health and wellness platform that provided personalized support and resources to help individuals improve their health and well-being. I was the lead mobile designer there for a bit.

When I arrived, there was no parity between the desktop and mobile app. So, a PM and I had to dig in and tackle each feature, one by one, and make it as good or better as a mobile experience. We achieved this, as its app store rating steadily climbed during my tenure.

While the work I did there is not my best visual design work, it did provide me a key moment in my career. This job taught me to truly think of the end user, and to get excited about things like button placement, not just whether or not something looks beautiful.
